This list features the top 20 best songs by Florida Georgia Line. The American country music duo consisting of vocalists Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley had one of their group’s defining moments when headlining the Stagecoach music festival for a crowd of 100,000 people.
Their 2012 debut single “Cruise“, which remains their most popular song, broke two major sales records: it was downloaded over seven million times, making it the first country song ever to receive the Diamond certification, and it became the best-selling digital country song of all time, with 24 weeks at number one, until it was surpassed in July 2017 by Sam Hunt’s “Body Like a Back Road”.
Most recently, Florida Georgia Line scored their first career Grammy nomination for “Best Country Duo/Group Performance” for “Meant to Be,” their chart-topping collaboration with Bebe Rexha.
Florida Georgia Line was formed in 2010 in Nashville, Tennessee and began as a cover band. In December 2011, they signed to the Big Loud Mountain label. Their second EP, It’z Just What We Do, was released in 2012 and charted on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart.
When asked what inspired their music, Hubbard responded, “Every place we go, everything we do, and our families. “Our lives always inspire our music,” he explained.
Several months later they signed with Republic Nashville, part of the Big Machine Label Group.They released their second album, Anything Goes on October 14, 2014. Their third album, Dig Your Roots, was released on August 26, 2016
In 2019, the duo has more music in store. “We’re releasing our fourth album,” Hubbard reveals. “We’re really proud of it, we’ve been working all year on it so we’re really excited to get that out to the fans. We are going to kick off a new tour and continue to write as much as we can and do what we love. We’re excited about it.”
