Having great success with singles “BetterMan” , “Video Games”, and “You & Me”, Singer-Songwriter Carl Scogland is set to release his third full length album on October 14th, 2022. The 15th track album centers around themes including self-reflection, personal loss, love, and relationship difficulties.

Carl began work on “Identity” in 2020 soon after the pandemic was in full swing. By teaming up with local Austin producer and musician Clint Manning, the duo would spend the better half of two years solidifying the tracks. Identity contains numerous heart-felt pop and rock ballads that allow us to get to know Carl better on a personal and emotional level. Earlier this year Carl released “Betterman” a song about self-reflection and addiction accompanied by a music video.

In July, Carl followed up with the release of “Video Games” , a song that was promoted extensively on Twitch. The music video for “Video Games” was a collaboration with many well known streamers in the gaming industry. The song also did exceptionally well on Spotify increasing his monthly listeners to over 13,500 with 27,000 plays. Carl plans to kick off the Identity tour in the Spring of 2023.
