Great to have you on Xttrawave. Please, introduce yourself.

My Name is Eli Da Vincii I was born in Brooklyn, New York and Raised in Wilmington Delaware. My Artist Name used to be Eli Makaveli I changed it to Eli Da Vincii since I consider myself an artist and Leonardo da Vinci was a famous artist

What got you into music and made you realize that it was your chosen path?

I got into music at the age of 16. I Have always loved music and writing but kept my talents hidden due to my shyness and anxiety. I knew music was my path when every time a song would come on I would sing or rap my own version.

Tell us about your new music? And what’s the story behind it?

My New EP named “Celestial: Experimental Tapes” is a fun body of work I created to show off my versatility and introduce listeners to the music that I can make. What makes this EP special is that it isn’t trying to go number 1 it’s a bunch of different sounds that came from the heart.

What makes your music unique? How would you describe it?

My music is unique because of my own twists. I am a Rap artist who often adds melodies to his raps and I am not afraid to be different or sound different, I also do not look how I sound which often surprises people.

Who are your biggest music influences? And any particular artist/band you would like to collaborate with in the future?

My Biggest Influence for my sound is A Boogie wit da Hoodie when writing songs I would often write in the style of him. I also am really inspired by Nicki Minaj because of her flow and pen game. Nicki is the Goat. I would die to collaborate with her. I also was inspired by Tupac because of how he lived in his truth and how influential he was. I also have been inspired by Drake, Lil Wayne and Eminem.

Which is the best moment in your musical career that you’re most proud of?

The best part of my career is simply making fun bodies of art and sharing them with the world no matter how many streams it gets, it’s not about that for me I don’t care if I’m the only one who streams my songs I love the art of crafting music.

How do you balance your music with other obligations – family, friends or work?

At first I hid my music from people because of how shy I was but eventually everyone found out and began supporting me.

What advice would you give to aspiring musicians?

Keep Going! don’t worry about streams, going big, or even a record deal; worry about your craft and how you’re going to improve that’s what will drive people to you!

If you had one message to give to your fans, what would it be?

Thank you for all the support and love you guys.

What’s next for you? Any upcoming projects?

I have a Mixtape in the works which is a remake of my now deleted 2019 Mixtape “Irregular” which will feature some artists I know and will be bigger than everything I’ve made.
