2. Daddy Yankee

Daddy Yankee is the leading voice in Puerto Rican reggaetón, with a blend of bomba, salsa, reggae, and hip-hop . Before the fame, his father was known as a percussionist and his mother a manicurist. Under the influence of an island that often identified itself with music and a musical family, he started from a very young age and was attracted to improvisation. Mexican rapper Gera MX pays close homage to the boom-bap sonics of his forefathers. His 2014, studio album No Veo, No Siento was nominated for the Record of the Year award by Ritmo Urbano magazine. In 2017, he released his fourth full length album Los Niños Grandes No Juegan. He’s also known for the history-making hit “Botella Tras Botella.” Immediately after breaking domestic streaming records, the ranchera-rap fusion became the first regional Mexican single to debut on the Billboard Hot 100 chart as it garnered hundreds of millions of streams across global platforms.

4. Santa Fe Klan

Sana Fe Klan is considered as one of the best Mexican rappers of all time. Known for adopting genres like Cumbia and Mexican el Rap in his music, he spent most of his childhood in a small town called Santa Fe, which inspired him to adopt it as his stage name. He was also part of the group called Santa Fe Klan that formed in 2013. But after it disbanded in 2017, he continued as a solo artist under the same name. Aleman is a Mexican rapper from Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur. Alemán started his career as part of rap group Doble Rima before gaining notoriety as a solo act. 6. Neto Peña

Neto Peña is a Mexican rapper from Guadalajara who began making music while living in Nuevo Laredo at the age of 13. His music video for the song “Sex No Love” was watched more than 100 million times on his YouTube channel. His other popular songs include “Nada Me Va a Importar” and “No Llegare (Remix).”

7. MC Davo

Mexican rapper MC Davo is known for speedy raps and head-bobbing production which have made him an underground star in the Latin rap scene. At the age of 19, Snow Tha Product began taking music seriously and decided to pursue a career as a rapper. She adopted her name from Disney’s character Snow White. Initially using the name “Snow White”, and then add it along with “the Product”, and then changed it into her new moniker as “Snow Tha Product”. After recording a number of songs in Spanish, she caught the attention of Mexican artist Jaime Kohen. C-Kan is known as one of the best Mexican rappers of his generation. Inspired by Cypress Hill and Control Machete, C-Kan began rapping as a teenager, delivering hard-edged tales about his experiences with gangs, drugs, and violence. His first mixtape, Get Money, arrived in 2006, followed by Siluetas del Rap in 2007. Canserbero is a Venezuelan MC. He is also known for his participation in the rap duo CAN + ZOO along with Lil’ Supá, also known as Zoo. He also recorded two solo albums “ Vida ” (2010) and “ Death ” (2012). The rapper had conquered the Venezuelan national music scene and had a legion of fans abroad, especially in Spain, where he lived and worked for a while. Nuevo Leon rapper Dharius established himself as a founding member of Cartel de Santa. The video and song “Me Alegro de Su Odio” was the last composition he made with Cartel de Santa before transitioning to a solo act.
