Glorious – “Move” Music Review

    glorious

“Move” is a song written and performed by singer-songwriter Glorious. The livetronica drummer takes us through a mix of upbeat rhythms and opalescent synths. The tune is much more turbulent even though it’s more conceptually grounded by the vocals.

It leads with a drum pad beat and synths that dwell in spunky dance-pop. The most exciting moments on “Move” come when the production takes on these rhythmic sessions. The song bounces between bouts of chaos and the absolute cheeriness of pure pop. Glorious sings with powerful vocals that become so memorable.

The female artist delivers a strong and diverse performance. It becomes impossible to deny the complexity of the singer with her production skills defining her sound. Glorious has the courage and creativity to make utterly gleaming pop music. She makes “Move” distinctive allowing her the freedom to step over creative boundaries and fully embrace the whole of her imagination.

The lurid and sizzling pop-funk creates vigor that is intoxicating as Glorious develops a kind of attractive appeal. Her approach to conveying emotion through her singing is subtle and refined. When she opts for restraint, it says as much as when she chooses to explode.

Her vitality with every word she sings embraces what it means to be alive. Glorious launches herself onto every beat of the song with a resounding style. The female singer seems to be working on her versatility incorporating a palette of melodic R&B as she does with electronic pop. The conviction of her sound has been delightfully making it known that she’s grown past the modernist vision of pop music.
