Lil Durk is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter from Chicago, Illinois. He is the founder and lead member of the collective and record label Only the Family (OTF). Durk began his career in the early 2010s, and rose to prominence with the release of his Signed to the Streets mixtape series (2013–2014). He signed to Def Jam Recordings in 2015, and released his debut studio album, Remember My Name, the same year. Durk has since released six more studio albums, including The Voice (2020), which peaked at number two on the Billboard 200 chart. He has also collaborated with a number of other artists, including Drake, The Weeknd, and Meek Mill.
