Cory Driscoll Drops A Personal Yet Universally Applicable Track, “Hope Changes.”

Cory-Driscoll-2

Cory Driscoll has introduced his latest single, ‘Hope Changes.’ Released on January 7, the song is a perfect example of the rhythm, blues, and Soul genres. With a soulful voice, the artist demonstrates his ability to win people’s hearts all over the world. ‘Hope Changes’ is one of the songs from Cory’s upcoming full-length project, “Eureka Springs,” which tells the story of a father’s journey through America’s heartland in search of redemption and understanding. The song ‘Hope Changes’ is the follow-up to the single, ‘All Great Love,’ perfectly supporting the album’s narrative. Throughout the song, Cory Driscoll has kept a positive tone in his voice. The lyrical evolution in ‘Hope Changes’ can certainly earworm anyone. Compared to the first single, ‘All Great Love,’ this one has more musical allure that will tempt Cory’s fans to want more. ‘Hope Changes’ begins with slow chords of the acoustic guitar, followed by an evocative blazon of the slide guitar.

Cory Driscoll is a singer-songwriter from Jacksonville who has been writing songs for 20 years. The singer-songwriter has a diverse background that helped him reach where he is today. From 2004 to 2008, he released folk songs on tape under his own name. From 2008 to 2011, Cory led the post-punk band Curious Animals, and from 2012 to 2016, he led the post-rock band Young Adult. In 2018, he released “Tropical Depression,” a seven-song album about a rained-out family vacation, as his first solo EP. Cory wrote Eureka Springs in 2019, but the pandemic thwarted the band’s original plans to record the album together in March 2020, so they ended up collaborating via email, clouds and dropboxes. “Eureka Springs” is a 9-track project that Cory plans to release on Long Jump Records on March 18, 2022, on pressed vinyl limited to 300 copies and digitally.
