Famous YouTuber Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr.aka DDG turned rap star has built his career from the ground while leaning on his successful YouTube works.

Hailing from Pontiac, Michigan, DDG was born in 1997 in the city whose rap history is largely based on underground traditionalist hip-hop. He dropped out of college since he did most of his learning out of the classroom as a prominent YouTuber. His unique skill of making viral vlogs and skits not only made him over $30,000 per month but also gained him a loyal fan base.

With all his achievements, DDG moved to Hollywood to pursue acting as a career but later decided to change his mind and take on music full-time. His confidence grew largely when his free style videos and a playful Lil Yachty diss began to rock up views. Today, DDG is signed with Epic Records, has two studio albums to his name which include; “Valedictorian” released on 1st November 2019, and “Die 4 Respect” released this year on 19th March.

He previously worked with big names in the music industry like; famous producer Zaytoven, 42 Dugg, 2kBaby, and fellow YouTuber Queen Naija.

In this 21st century of online media and digital music, one can refer to Darryl as a muse. His creativity inspires so many young creatives in the USA and all over the world to keep on keeping on.
