Cape Town-born Hip-Hop & R&B artist Isco Cruz is ready to take 2022 by storm, releasing his second single of 2022 Y.N.D (Young n Dumb) Freestyle.
On this unpredictable alternative-styled track, Isco Cruz takes us through a journey starting the track off completely differently from how it ends. Isco Cruz raps about essentially being lost in lust and getting involved with women he has no business being involved with going into the second part of the song he slows things down singing about his perspective on monogamy and why he’s losing hope in the concept.
Speaking on Y.N.D Freestyle, Isco shared in a statement, “The track is a reflection of my involvements with women, especially taken women. I feel like infidelity is becoming more of a norm in my generation and tides turning in the sense that I see a lot of it coming from women. I remember addressing in conversation with a girl I was messing around with while she had a partner and her exact words were ‘everyone cheats man, just not everyone owns up to it’, so that’s slightly the perspective that Y.N.D Freestyle stemmed from.”
“Y.N.D Freestyle” will appear on Isco Cruz’s untitled debut EP. It has no release date at this time.
Recently attracting the ears of programmers at BBC Music in London & Platinum Vibes Radio in New York, Isco intends on reaching the masses and taking his music career as far as it can humanly go.
