Great to be here! I appreciate y’all for having me, my name is camgotstatic and to make a long story short, growing up I use to watch this cartoon called “Static Shock“ all the time and it just stuck with me.
What got you into music and made you realize that it was your chosen path?
I have always loved music and the thought of doing it. I love the art of storytelling and taking people on a journey with me and I feel like I can touch a lot of people with my music.
Tell us about your new music? And what’s the story behind it?
LOL well honestly I made “Latina Bruja” after watching Bad Boys 3. I had just seen the scene when Martin lawrence was like “Mike!! You married a Bruja??“ LOL and I love all women don’t get me wrong, but being from Florida, spanish women just have a special place in my heart.
What makes your music unique? How would you describe it?
My music is unique because it is me telling my story, no one on this earth can tell my story and paint the picture of my story in the manner that I do and that’s a fact. My genre is Hip Hop / Rap
Who are your biggest musical influences? And any particular artist/band you would like to collaborate with in the future?
My biggest influences would have to be obviously Andre 3000, Tupac, Biggie, Lil Wayne, Eminem, Ice Cube, and as far as artists I would like to collaborate. I would say Kodak Black, T9ine, Drake, lil durk, NLE Choppa lol the list goes on and on.
Which is the best moment in your musical career that you’re most proud of?
My first time hopping in the booth, because it was something so foreign to me and outside of my comfort zone.
How do you balance your music with other obligations – family, friends or work?
You make time for the things you want to make time for, I go to college, I work and I still make time to chill and do the things that are important in my day to day life.
What advice would you give to aspiring musicians?
Stay true to who you are and don’t be something you’re not because of a trend.
If you had one message to give to your fans, what would it be?
I love you for supporting me and this is only the beginning I’m gonna keep grinding day in and day out.
