Patrick Antonian-2

Great to have you on Xttrawave. Please, introduce yourself?

Thank You, great to talk with you. My name is Patrick Antonian and I’m A hiphop artist from Los Angeles.

What got you into music and made you realize that it was your chosen path?

It was something we did for the love of the art. As my love for music grew it weaved itself into my everyday life$tyle at a young age. I was introduced to good music from my parents at a young age and we just been inseparable since then.

Tell us about your new music? And what’s the story behind it?

My newest release is a “Best Of” where i featured all the best singles from the last couple years. Its called B.O.P.A. Vol. 1. It has features like Big twins from Infamous Mobb, Kinetic 9 from Killarmy, Mika 9 of Freestyle Fellowship, Ras Kass and so many more. We just so many fun singles through the years, i had to take them and document them on one project.

What makes your music unique? And how would you describe it?

My hiphop is unique in a way that I actually love rapping to all types of different beats and genres. In these last few years I have really found my voice and “my lane” so even when Im featured on something totally different, I can maintain my elements and bring what I need to to the track. I think its dope to try all types of different things.

Do you play any instruments? And why do you love it?

I mess around with some instruments. Drums, Percussion, Keyboards, Guitars. My main passion is lyrics and melodies, but I def love playing instruments and do alot of executive production when it comes to my music. I do most of the sequencing which in-turn lets me express some of my production skills and instrumentation. I am very hands on with everything that happens through out the music.

Who are your biggest musical influences? And any particular artist/band you would like to collaborate with in the future?

I have a ton of influences. As a music lover I listen to everything. All genres can influence your sound or music. Major ones are Wu-Tang, Mobb Deep, 2Chainz, Nas, System Of A Down, Rick Rubin, Oldies, Classic Rock, Country, R&B. I damn near listen and are influenced by ever genre at some point.

Which is the best moment in your musical career that you’re most proud of?

Glad to announce at this moment that I have a new single coming out with Ghostface Killah (Wu-Tang) Being that Wu was one of my biggest influences, It’s amazing to have gotten to a point where I have a record with one of my favorite and most respected MCs. Still feels surreal to play the song and hear my voice on the same track with his. Def a career high for me.

How do you balance your music with other obligations – family, friends or work?

Balance is easy when you have OCD. Haha. I been so organized, priority oriented, & family oriented since I was child. There is the proper time to handle everything. You plan for the best possible outcome, so that way, when the inevitable obstacles happen, you just adjust along the way. Everything just kinda falls into place.

What advice would you give to aspiring musicians?

Keep going! The more you work on your craft and keep putting things out, the better. Don’t be afraid to release things. Keep releasing and keep moving forward.

If you had one message to give to your fans, what would it be?

I love and appreciate every single listener. We all the same. They are fans because they either know me and we respect each other or they relate to what I’m saying. That makes us one in the same.

What’s next for you? Any upcoming projects?

Next up we got a new single with A-F-R-O produced by Bei Ru. A killer single with two Los Angeles emcees. Then I’ll be following up with a Single featuring Tash of the Alkaholiks which is Produced by Nick Veezy of The Baker Boys. Really Excited for those two singles to drop. appreciate your time, thank you for having me on here. Peace.
