“You Want Me” is a song written and recorded by singer-songwriter Baggio. It begins with exquisite pearly synths, gauzy vocal intonations that grip the listener from the get go. Hailing from Netherlands the artist takes accountability for his actions and embraces the emotional flux that comes with “You Want Me”.

The tune feels like a thrilling anthem, battling for personal affection and intimacy with a universal effect. Baggio has an incredible voice, ethereal and rich, capable of soaring to fluttering soprano heights. Prodigious use of the guitars is what brings a shiny glint to the music catching your attention, especially on the solo hook.

But the writing is arresting, applicable with esoteric pop that feels classical in a way. There is much demonstrated experience by the singer to craft a song that is light and fun. This shows the ability of the artist to pair heartfelt emotions with a creative force to produce an amazing musical piece.

Alluring with some sort of 80’s theme, Baggio both lyrically and vocally illustrates the tempestuous battle for love, not lust masquerading as something more. He sings, drums propelling as the bassline offers cover.

With a mix of angelic finger-picking, the music becomes infectious with melodies, almost transcending into a sense of cathartic dance-ability. “You Want Me” feels refined as you can hear the energy gathering itself into something more.

The song being an intimate obsession, Baggio must keep returning with music of such exceptional quality and dominate with his own unique style.
