Music Review: Yes Please – Priceless

Yes Please - Priceless-2

Yes Please, a soft Pop/RnB production duo, introduce ‘Priceless,’ a follow up to their debut EP ‘Good Manners, Bad Taste.’ The track’s soft acoustic melodies are cute with a fatter bass creating a sad song that you can also dance to.

The  Pop/RnB duo elevate their new single “Priceless” by a swarm of melodies that overtake repetitious drum patterns. About twenty seconds in and the two extend a stalk-ladder of bass leading up to a land of dreamy pastel synths and fluttering keys, to become quite the romantic excursion up in the clouds.

“Priceless” is a soft-edged tune that is a surefire radio hit. Nothing is too frantic or heavy, and when the bass appears, it’s as soothing as it is booming. If that sounds good, you may also enjoy the vocals which overtake with extraordinary enthusiasm. It makes for an easy casual listening experience as it rises slowly in the mix until everything else is in the background.

Often than not, today’s music though no less pleasant, disappears without leaving much of an impression. The airwaves are plagued by bland, wearisome tunes that lack passion or appeal. But Yes Please deliver a song that stimulates your senses and arouses the inner-charm in you when it comes to matters of the heart.

Whether it’s heartbreak or blind love you get to experience all of it on their new single “Priceless”. It’s a great record that can prove irresistible even to highly-opinionated fans due to its fiery energetic performance. Yes Please are a group to watch out for in the coming future. They have figured out what makes the heart go crazy when it’s exposed to a tune that boils with seductive essence up to the core elements.
