Megan Thee Stallion, is a female rap artist from Houston, Texas. She released the EP Tina Snow in June 2018, and signed to 300 Entertainment in November 2018, making her the first female rapper on the label.
After dropping a number of hot verses on a few Texas Cyphers , her verse on ‘The Houston Cypher’ over Drakes “4pm in Calabasas” caught on like wildfire. The viral video allowed Megan Thee Stallion gain a huge social media presence.
Born February 15, 1995, the female rapper is known for her confidence, sensuality, and explicit lyrics. She presents her sexuality throughout her lyrics, videos, and live performances. She released her mixtape ‘Rich Ratchet’ on Soundcloud and MyMixtapez ,and then her first EP ” Make It Hot” soon followed.
In 2019,she released the single “Big Ole Freak” from her EP Tina Snow , and also filmed a music video for the track. The single “Is it Love This Time” is sampled throughout the single. On April 15, 2019, Megan Thee Stallion achieved her first entry on BillboardHot 100 at number 99 with her single “Big Ole Freak”.
In her songs, Megan is direct and unfiltered, sparing no detail of her sexual conquests, which, in contrast to the slowed-down swing that Houston pioneered. Since then Megan’s raunchy lyrics and hardcore flow has helped her breakout.
Her music has garnered constant rotation on radio airwaves and DJ’s are almost required to play her music in night clubs. And with her debut album Fever, she hopes to succeed in doing just that.
