And, if the last single, Work, shone a light on their ability to create cutting-edge hip-hop, they play with cool R&B grooves, Latin beats, and island vibes this time out. It is a track that seems to sashay long, built from soulfulness and sensuality, atmosphere and understatement as much as from more conventional instrumentation.
The two songs together show why they are in such demand, both as producers and recording artists in their own right. Many artists can specialize in a signature sound. A few can turn their hand to such a wide range, and fewer still can do it with this much coolness and confidence.
