This song was made thinking of a girl that was far far away from me in a time I was working in a ship far away from home in a foreign country. So it’s like a journey trough space to reach the star, which means counting the days to go back home and be with that girl.
At the time I wrote this song I was reading a sci-fi book by Peter Hamilton called ‘The Abyss Beyond Dreams’ which set the tone and vibe for the song. The sound has some kind of sci-fi aesthetic to it.
Also I wanted to make something simple and easy to follow. My songs don’t have Lyrics or voices cause I want to stimulate the imagination of the listeners . It was made with very simple gear, my old laptop only. It took me about a couple weeks to cut it and when I showed to my mates they encourage me to go further with this.
